Just read an excellent article on Newstarget.com about why cancer comes back... basically due to collateral damage from so-called treatments. Compromised immunity from drug treatments opens us up to a multitude of problems.
Most chemo agents work by generating massive amounts of free radicals which can disrupt tumor growth, but with considerable collateral damage to our healthy cells.
Several things worth mentioning:
Chemicals and other toxins might be causitive agents in activating genes or altering genetic expression at the cellular level, but cancerous growths are typically fueled by excessive hormone levels - most often insulin or estrogen -which explains the explosion of cancer in our society... too many refined carbs and xenoestrogens in the diet.
For those battling cancer (especially with chemo/rad), detoxification is critical. Liver supporting nutrients and antioxidant support may not be enough to keep pace at times... organic coffee enemas and far infrared saunas can be very helpful, and exercising to stimulate the lymphatic system is mandatory.
The master gland of immunity (the thymus)is the cornerstone of cell mediated immunity. It is responsible for secreting proteins that modulate the immune response and help immune cells to recognize self vs intruders. The thymus is very susceptible to radiation and chemotoxicity, so glandular therapy to revitalize the gland's function is critical to restoring integrity to the immune system.
Probiotics and omega three fats are also foundational to immunity and to controlling inflammation, the primary destructive force in the body.
